Cyber Monday is a marketing phrase for the Monday instantly following Black Friday. It was designed by companies to convince people to buy on the internet. The phrase made its first appearance on Nov 28, 2005 in a Shop.org press release article.  Since then, it has become a popular day to find great gifts online!
