It’s almost time for Easter!
Each year my mom gives the kids baskets while my sister and I create an Easter Egg hunt! It’s a lot of fun (and a labor or love) to figure out different places to hide the eggs. Although my daughter is now 13 and one of my nieces is 14, we still continue the tradition. Mostly to appease my 8 year old niece. I suppose we’ll continue with the tradition even when she gets older.
For the past few years, I’ve been creating easter baskets for the kids. I find that making them is not only fun, but the kids like them so much more than “store bought” baskets. You can put waaaay more candy in them, and also personalize them to the likes of the child.
So if you’re the type who loves to do-it-yourself, here’s a quick video on how I put together an Easter basket! You can save yourself a little dough, and put together the most fantabulous basket that any kid would LOVE to get! Enjoy!
Soooo… how’d your basket turnout? Comment below, or visit me on my Facebook page! I look forward to hearing from you!
